Apart from elegant architecture and stylish resorts and restaurants, Biarritz is known as one of the top surfing destinations in Europe. If surfing isn’t your thing, you can also pick from beach activities such as paddleboarding, beach rugby, or the traditional sport of chistera.

Most travelers start in the south from Reykjavík, occasionally detouring from the main road to visit beautiful parks and small coastal towns. East Iceland is one the least populated and quietest areas, but it features dramatic fjords, sweeping landscapes, and fascinating history.
Next, visit the capital of northern Iceland, Akureyri. One of the largest municipalities in Iceland with approximately 20,000 residents, the town offers access to hot springs, waterfalls, and other natural attractions.
Western Iceland is one of the home’s of Norse mythology and features historical towns such as Reykholt and Akranes. Travelers often visit the iconic waterfalls and lava fields as well as Snæfellsjökull National Park, a 700,000 year old stratovolcano.

This small island is full of history and culture, and you can’t miss visiting attractions such as Villa San Michele or Villa di Tiberia. Monte Solaro, the highest point of the island, features a statue of the Emperor Augustus and a view of the entire island.
